The Role:

 

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join us on our technology journey. This is our first Business Analyst role, so you’d have a great deal of input and flexibility in defining Business Analysis processes, with the confidence to independently plan and organize your work, with the full support of our Technology Leadership Team. Effective communication is a key requirement for this role, as you must be able to adapt your style, tools, and techniques to suit the audience and type of information. Your problem-solving skills should strike a balance between creativity and practicality, and you should feel comfortable challenging assumptions and driving positive change to meet the business objectives.

 

Day-to-Day:

 

Together with stakeholders from across the business, technical management and delivery teams you will work collaboratively to elicit requirements, create a design and move forward with the delivery of solutions.

 

  • Evaluate and analyse information gathered to ensure requirements are complete
  • Translate business processes and requirements into functional spec / user stories
  • Take a lead on analysis tasks and coordinate Business Analysts on any large/complex projects
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders
  • Support in the delivery of business analysis across product teams
  • Manage team priorities by challenging and pushing back, negotiate timelines where required
  • Support the implementation of a consistent, structured, and practical framework to enable the growth of AppCheck’s Technical function, that supports efficient and effective delivery

  • The ability to quickly understand new processes, defining them where necessary and deliver quality outputs.
  • Experience of working in an environment where you are responsible for the delivery of multiple analysis tasks across different projects.

  • A desire to change the status-quo and drive real improvement.
  • Track record in planning activities and coordinating resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey and document technical information clearly, accurately, and concisely.
  • Proven experience in business analysis techniques, analysing data and modelling processes
  • Understanding of waterfall and agile project management frameworks.
  • Excellent research, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team but also able to work individually.
  • Evidence of supporting an Analysis Function mature, using your experience and knowledge within the industry.
  • Our ideal candidate also has experience with UX Design but it’s not essential.
